L’UNIVERSO è un collettivo di musicisti che ruota intorno albassista Adriano Barbiero.
Siamo nell’entroterra veneziano, che vanta negli anni 90 una florida scena musicale (Spirosfera, Estasia, Nema Niko,Miraspinosa, Antinomia, Bondage, Ledel, ecc.) da cui L’Universo ha attinto, ora musicalmente proiettato in una dimensione cosmic-ritual senza tempo.
“Atema Ndanaxeo” è alchimia proghedelica in un’unica suite con l’attitudine e lo spirito del kraut-rock cosmico(“alle porte del cosmo che sta lassù in Germania”, citando Finardi), caleidoscopio con quattro batterie, basso, chitarre elettriche e acustiche, tastiere, synths, theremin, flauto, sax, percussioni, vocalizzi e reading.
Incursioni ritmiche tribali e stratificazioni allucinate, psichedelia, space-rock, ambientazioni free-jazz, dunque libertà espressiva visionaria, poetica, senza confini.

L’UNIVERSO is a collective of musicians that revolves around the bass player Adriano Barbiero.
We are in the Venetian hinterland, which boasts a thriving musical scene in the 90s (Spirofera, Estasia, Nema Niko, Miraspinosa, Antinomia, Bondage, Ledel, etc.) from which L’Universo drew, now musically projected into a cosmic-ritual timeless dimension.
“Atema Ndanaxeo” is proghedelic alchemy in a single suitewith the attitude and spirit of cosmic kraut-rock (“at the gates of the cosmos that is up there in Germany”, quoting Finardi), kaleidoscope with four drums, bass, electric guitars and acoustics, keyboards, synths, theremin, flute, sax, percussions, vocalization and reading. Tribal rhythmic incursions and hallucinated stratifications, psychedelia, space-rock, free-jazz settings, therefore visionary, poetic, boundless expressive freedom.
