HABITAT “Hans, la nina y el principe” (HTT 015 – LIZARD CD 0175)
HABITAT è la storica band argentina di Aldo Pinelli, fondata nel 1978..
Origine italiana (nonna del Monferrato, nonno calabrese), da sempre un grande amore per l’Italia e in particolare per la scena progressive degli anni 70.
“Hans, la nina y el principe” nasce con questi pressupposti: un album tributo alle band italiane più importanti, PFM, Banco,Le Orme, Celeste, con una speciale intrusione di un brano dei Fiaba piaciuto particolarmente a Aldo.
Prendono così forma “La Carroza de Hans”, “Dulce Maria”, “No me perturbes”, “Juego de nina”, “Principe de un dia”, “Viene el angel”, tutte rivisitate in spagnolo e con momenti strumentali più vicini alla cultura latino-americana, laddove il rock progressivo sa attingere dalla grande tradizione degli anni 70.
Citiamo gruppi come Sui Generis, La Maquina de hacer Pajaros, MIA, che molto hanno influito nella formazione musicale degli HABITAT,
Un album affascinante, che si chiude con un lungo brano inedito degli Habitat, a sancire dunque il lungo percorso della band argentina, con vari cambi di formazione, riunitasi per questa occasione anche con musicisti originari.
“Hans, la nina y el principe”….un atto d’amore, il primo tributo al rock progressivo italiano….dal Sudamerica !!!

HABITAT is the historic Argentine band of Aldo Pinelli, founded in 1978 .
Italian origin (grandmother from Monferrato, grandfather from Calabria), always a great love for Italy and in particular for the progressive scene of the 70s.
“Hans, la nina y el principe” was born with these assumptions: a tribute album to the most important Italian bands, PFM, Banco, Le Orme, Celeste, with a special intrusion of a song from Fiaba particularly liked by Aldo.
