A ben dodici anni dalla loro ultima apparizione discografica esce oggi “Né apparenze né comete”, terza fatica per i KARMABLUE. Il CD è pubblicato con il marchio editoriale ATMAN Records, di proprietà della band, con la produzione artistica di Giacomo De Caterini, e con la distribuzione di LIZARD RECORDS.

Il sound dei KARMABLUE subisce una decisa mutazione genetica virando verso un prog onirico cantato in italiano, con sonorità in continua evoluzione che condensano diverse influenze stilistiche, dal prog degli anni ’70 al post-rock degli anni ’90, con qualche  accento metal, in una vera esplosione espressiva.

I membri della band, abbracciando almeno due generazioni, se non addirittura tre, con il loro personale bagaglio danno forma ad un art rock carico di energia e ricco di arrangiamenti, frutto di ricerca meticolosa e paziente.

Le liriche, per la maggior parte opera dell’autore Giacomo Caruso, e tratte dai suoi libri di poesia, risultano introspettive ed intimiste, ed esplorano ancora una volta i grandi temi della ricerca umana.

Ulteriore motivo di orgoglio è l’interazione che si è venuta a creare tra i musicisti nella scrittura di brani e di testi, frutto del contributo di tutti.

 

Twelve years after their last appearance, “Né appearances né comete” comes out today, the third effort for the project KARMABLUE. The CD is published under the editorial brand ATMAN Records, owned by the band, with the artistic production of Giacomo De Caterini, and with the distribution of LIZARD RECORDS.

The sound of KARMABLUE undergoes a decisive genetic mutation turning towards a dreamlike song sung in Italian, with evolving sounds that condense different stylistic influences, from the ’70s prog to the post-rock of the’ 90s, with some metal accent, in a true expressive explosion.

The members of the band, embracing at least two generations, if not even three, with their personal baggage give shape to an art rock full of energy and rich in arrangements, the result of meticulous and patient research.

The lyrics, for the most part the work of the author Giacomo Caruso, and taken from his poetry books, are introspective and intimate, and explore once again the great themes of human research.
